Newsletter Touching Sounds February 2025
Dear people,
How wonderful I think it is that the days are lengthening again. That gives inspiration to go outside, if the weather is also good. Yet it is still winter time with cool weather and long evenings. It’s nice to take advantage of this by being inside, even though we often don’t get around to a real ‘Hibernation’.
In our time, with its many impressions, it remains essential to be in deeper contact with our essential being. This allows us to be more confident in the choices we make, and to which we can say yes or no. In my opinion, a sound experience concert can deeply support you in this process of turning inwards. The universality of the sounds takes you on that journey inwards. And you don’t have to do anything for that. It is precisely not wanting to be in between, that gives your source connection/nature the opportunity to do what you cannot think of yourself.

News Letter Touching Sounds Christmas 2024
Dear people,
The past 2 weekends I had the pleasure of playing concerts for beautiful groups in Doorn and Ede. And also nice to experience that so much silence can descend on the participants. The concerts in Ede were the last there, because Mayin is going to move yoga back to Wageningen.
The next concerts are planned for early March. So we have something in the offing. Of course, you can already register for that.
But first we are going to experience winter time. Starting with Christmas and New Year. Everyone does that in their own way; also dealing with the short and dark days. Sometimes I don’t like those short days as much. However, it seems as if time goes so fast that I hardly notice that we have already had the shortest day. So the days will lengthen again and the light can increase again. As far as I’m concerned, this applies both literally, and figuratively (is perhaps also literally ;>)).
It remains for me to wish you, and all those you love,

and a beautiful and loving new year 2025.

Newsletter December 2024
Dear people,
One more week to go and then there will be concerts in Doorn (Friday and Saturday), and a week later in Ede (Saturday). The concerts in Ede are on the shortest day of the year, so it’s quite special to turn inwards. And then the days can lengthen again, on to the newer light. I don’t know if you recognize that, but it seems as if we are living more and more in a timeless time. We say that time flies, but maybe that’s only when we step out of that timelessness for a moment, that we experience it. That we are already more in the timelessness, without realizing it. Increasingly experiencing a timeless space in the moment. Still difficult to explain, also because sometimes there are also many troubles around us that we have to go through.
What could be better in such a period than not having to do anything at all, and receiving a natural support when turning inwards, a journey ending at the silence and space of your being. At least that’s how I experience the effect of a sound experience concert.
As mentioned, I have planned concerts at 2 locations, namely: At the Heelcentrum in Doorn on December 13 and 14 and also on March 1 next year, and at yoga center Mayin in Ede on December 21 and also next year on March 8.

I trust that we will create an open and safe setting at the concerts, where you can come to a standstill, and you can experience the deep silence and space, which I experience as so rich, inside you. If we can get to our silence, it can become clear from that silence what wants to present itself, from who we are. So that’s why this invitation.

Newsletter November 2024
Dear friends,
The last month of the year is coming again with its ‘feasts/celebrations’. And it is also the month with the shortest day, or longest night; or the darkness; winter (sleep); turning inwards. Then the days can lengthen again, and therewith light may increase.
What could be better in such a period than not having to do anything at all, and receiving a natural support in turning inwards, a journey ending in the silence of your being. This is how I experience the effect of a sound experience concert.
I have planned concerts at 2 locations, namely: At the Heelcentrum in Doorn on December 13 and 14, and at yogacenter Mayin in Ede on December 21 (both concerts in Ede are fully booked; but you can still sign up for the reserve list).
What I also want to mention is that I have breathed some new life into my website. In my opinion it is simple and practical, and I may try it out a little further; >)). If you want to see it, see: www.touchingsounds.nl
